Sullivan County Long Beards youth turkey hunt contest was won by Aiden Johnston of Roscoe. While hunting with guide and mentor Collin Tallman, he took his 1st turkey. A very respective 17 lb 12 oz bird with 1” spurs and a 9” beard. His bird had a total score of 55.75 using the NWTF's official scoring system. From the awards available, Aiden chose to have a full mount of his turkey donated by Dianne Bacon of She Wolf taxidermy, Roscoe.
