January 21 – Every month Seven X Motors owner Eric Alleva sponsors a dog from the Sullivan County SPCA in hopes to see these loving animals go to even more loving homes. Alleva covers their adoption fee to give them the best chance possible to find that loving home.
Eric partners with Therese at Thunder 102 & 104.5 Lightning Hot Country, and goes live on the air once a month to talk about these amazing dogs!
This month is Quantum. He is a young adult pit mix around 1-3 years, neutered, weighs about 40-45 lbs, up to date on vaccines including rabies as well as monthly preventative, and microchipped. He is available to foster or adopt. “Quantum is definitely a character guys!” said Alleva.
He was found as a stray with no family to claim him. He is a young handsome fella with lots and lots of energy who would make a great outdoor companion to join his future owner on hikes, walks, runs, camping, anything with being able to play around, but also enjoy a nice nap in between zoomie sessions.
He is very sweet and loves to give hugs and kisses and expects them right back. Quantum shows no signs of aggression towards other dogs and is curious about cats.
Last month’s dog, Sadie, has yet to find her forever home and is still sponsored by Seven X Motors. Sadie is a shepherd mix, one year old, housebroken, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.
Sadie was surrendered to the Sullivan County SPCA after one year with her family, leaving her very scared and confused. She is very sweet, loves to give hugs and kisses, and play outside.
She may prefer an only dog home due to food aggression but she’s still friendly with others. She’s timid of men at first and may take some time to warm up but once she does you will see how goofy and loving she is.
“We have been so wildly successful for the last year or whatever it’s been, we have adopted out every single dog within 2 weeks or even less from the airing, and Sadie is the only one who has not gotten adopted”, said Eric Alleva.
These dogs are both loving and sweet and deserve good homes. To inquire about either Quantum or Sadie please reach out to the Sullivan County SPCA at 845-796-3120.
