Are you looking for your next book to read? Many libraries in Sullivan County have the Forthcoming Bestsellers lists at their circulation desks or on their websites. These lists are created by the Ramapo Catskill Library System (RCLS) to showcase some of the many anticipated titles published each season.

The Forthcoming Spring 2021 Bestsellers list is chock full of familiar authors from John Grisham to Nora Roberts. Use this resource to make sure you are on the waiting list for books published later this spring. If you are a fan of thrillers, request James Patterson's 21st Birthday, John Sandford's Ocean Prey or J. A. Jance's Unfinished Business.

Were you a fan of the science fiction thriller The Martian by Andy Weir? He's back with Project Hail Mary, a novel about a man, Ryland Grace, who awakens from a coma with no memories of his identity or how he came to be alone on a spaceship with two dead crewmates. He then discovers an alien spacecraft in the vicinity of his ship with a strange traveler.

Looking for a beach read? This June, Elin Hilderbrand is back with the novel Golden Girl about a woman killed in a hit-and-run who is given a chance to spend a year watching over her children, her best friend, and her ex-husband.

To be placed on the waiting list for these and dozens of other titles published this May and June, visit your local library's catalog or download the RCLS Gateway app from your app store, log into your account using your library card, and place a hold. Or you can call your library and ask to be added to the holds list. Please note that annotations above are taken from professional review sources and book lists.

So many titles to choose from. Which one will you read first?
