SULLIVAN COUNTY –– Let’s rewind back to the spring baseball/softball season. Spring play on the diamond was heavily affected by rainy, wet weather. 

This season, five Sullivan County teams made it through to Sectionals, and two teams punched their tickets to Regionals. The Eldred Yellowjackets baseball and softball teams were crowned Section IX Class D  Champs, and went on to Regionals play this season. Sullivan West’s baseball and softball teams, along with the Tri-Valley softball team, all saw Sectionals action this year. With a host of standout players this spring, the Democrat would like to highlight those who made the All-Star list this season!
