LIVINGSTON MANOR - The Sullivan County Long Beards (SCLB) annual Thanksgiving turkey give away took place on Friday, November 20 at 11 a.m. at Peck's Market in Livingston Manor.
The SCLBs Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation provided 130 frozen turkeys for distribution across the county. The SCLB's are pleased to be able to make this contribution back to deserving residents and veterans of our county. It is our opportunity to give back to those that support our mission and goals.
Gathering in front of Peck's Market in Livingston Manor were volunteer chapter members, representatives of many churches, firemen, schools, rotary and the Sullivan County Veterans Coalition to pick up and deliver the donated turkeys.
Peck's Market Livingston Manor, has been a faithful supplier of the turkeys for many years. We receive assistance from anonymous donors as well to make this program possible. Thank you to all.
Our prayers are with you, your family and our country during this difficult time. Sullivan County Long Beards are proud to be able to make this contribution giving back to deserving residents of our country and especially to our Veterans.
