On Friday March 7, 2025, four new recruits assigned to the Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division graduated from the Orange County Police Chief’s Association Academy. The graduation ceremony was held at the Orange County Emergency Services Center in Goshen, NY. In the photo (l to r), Sheriff Mike Schiff, Deputy Sheriff Erik Hill, Deputy Sheriff Daiana Doran, Deputy Sheriff Alyza Garcia, Deputy Sheriff Carson Somers and Undersheriff Eric Chaboty. The new deputies will now begin the next phase of training with their field training officers.
