Lake Huntington — Three talented Sullivan West High School musicians have been selected to perform in the prestigious NYSSMA Zone 9 Area All-State Music Festival.
Ethan Clark has been chosen for Concert Band (Clarinet), Avery Bair for Mixed Choir (Soprano 1), and Ryan Hoch for Mixed Choir (Bass 1).
These students were selected from applicants across NYSSMA Zone 9, which encompasses Greene, Ulster, Sullivan, Orange, and Rockland counties. Selections were based on their outstanding NYSSMA scores from this past May.
Out of the 428 students who will perform in the festival’s Concert Band, Symphony Orchestra, Treble Choir, and Mixed Choir, only 16 students represent Sullivan County—a testament to the exceptional talent of these young musicians.
Sullivan West Central School District congratulates Ethan, Avery, and Ryan for this remarkable achievement and their dedication to musical excellence.
