HONESDALE, PA – Wayne County Arts Alliance is excited to announce that the 2025 edition of The Great Wall of Honesdale is now installed.  We would like to invite the public to the 10th Annual Celebration of The Great Wall of Honesdale on Saturday, June 21 from 2-4pm at 4th and Main Streets, Honesdale. Free and open to the public.

The 2025 theme for the Great Wall of Honesdale is “Connection”. The juried artwork of the following twelve artists is featured from June 2025 until June 2026:

Brandi Merolla of Damascus, PA; Norma Bernstock of Milford, PA; Bernie Mangiaracina of Honesdale, PA; Sandra Duran Wilson of Santa Fe, NM; Anna Brown of Honesdale, PA; Marjorie Morrow of Kenoza Lake, NY; Trix Render of Damascus, PA; Nancy Wells of Milanville, PA; Paul Plumadore of Milanville, PA; Denise Millon of Waymart, PA; Sandi Ludescher of Santa Fe, NM; and Elwood Bond of Honesdale, PA.

Each artist’s original work is digitally reproduced on an 11 x 17-foot panel of billboard vinyl and is on display for one year at the intersection of 4th & Main Streets in Honesdale. Art mediums represented this year are photography, oil and acrylic painting, and a variety of mixed media (photo collage and analog paper montage).

The Great Wall of Honesdale is a project of the Wayne County Arts Alliance (Honesdale), and is made possible through the generosity of local businesses and individuals. A sincere thank you goes to all of this year’s Panel Sponsors, Wall Patrons, and Project Donors who support the exhibit. Panel Sponsors are the Honesdale Area Jaycees, Honesdale National Bank, Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau, RE/MAX Wayne, and a donation in memory of Theresa Veronica Johannes Piatt (1889-1985).

A special thank you to Chuck and Wanda Jurgensen of Top Notch Distributors for providing the exhibit space, and to Glenn Khoury with Encore Outdoor Advertising for another successful installation. Congratulations to this year’s student artist, Anna Brown, a rising senior at Scranton Preparatory School and resident of Honesdale, Pennsylvania.
