“Thank you for sponsoring me for many years. Family members are sending their deepest gratitude to you. Without your support I would not have been able to continue my studies. I am now studying B.B.A. at Southeast University. My aim in life is to become a certified accountant. My family is now able to bare all of my educational expenses. My only request to you is your blessing so that I can fulfill my dream.”

This is part of a five page letter, all written neatly in English instead of Bengali, from Masum Mohammad from Bangladesh, a young man who I have sponsored for over ten years. He is now 20 years old.

When he was younger one of his favorite subjects was English and he started writing part of his letters in English instead of through an interpreter.

I now have a boy named Justin Mungusa, also from Bangladesh, who I've had since he was five and is now eight. His birthday is December 2 and if I send an extra $20 he gets a birthday party for himself and his friends. Now I can even go online and see a video of Justin in action.

I sponsor through World Vision but there are other charity organizations that you can sponsor through. The cost is $25 a month and is very rewarding so I strongly recommend it.

I've included pictures of Mohammad when he was younger and one of him now and one of Justin.
