Sullivan Catskills Visitors    Association (SCVA) will celebrate National Travel and Tourism Week with its 21st Annual Brochure Exchange Tailgate Event on Wednesday, May 4, from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Forestburgh Playhouse, 39 Forestburgh Rd., Forestburgh.

Representatives from local businesses will gather outside at the Forestburgh Playhouse to exchange brochures, literature, and information about their organization. There will be food catered by Mr. Willy’s, networking, and fun.

“This is a prime opportunity for members to showcase their hospitality businesses to hundreds of businesses throughout the Sullivan Catskills,” said Roberta Byron-Lockwood, President/CEO of SCVA. “Attendees will have the opportunity to share brochures and learn about industry information in the Sullivan Catskills as we head into the warmer season.”

The event is free for two SCVA members, and $20 for each additional person per business; $30 for non-member businesses. This event is sponsored by Bold Gold Media Group and the Sullivan County Democrat.

National Travel and Tourism Week is the annual celebration of the contributions of the U.S. travel industry and is held from May 1 through 7.

Pre-registration for the brochure exchange is required. For more information or to register, please visit www.sullivancatskills.com/tailgate-event, email lmh@scva.net or call (845) 747-4449.
