Theresa Mary (Hensz) Tebo formerly of Narrowsburg, New York and recently a resident of the Episcopal Church Home in Louisville, Kentucky died peacefully as she slept on the evening of July 8, 2021. She was 97 years old.

She is survived by her two daughters and two sons, Mary Jane Rice and husband Alfred of Louisville, Kentucky, Alexis Capaldo and her husband Jerry of Sandy Hook, Connecticut, William John Tebo Jr. and wife Bonnie of Acworth, Georgia, Robert John Tebo and his wife Laura of Mt. Dora, Florida.

Theresa was the proud grandmother of Grant, Victoria, Allison and Katherine Tebo of Acworth, Georgia, Danielle Haycraft of Louisville, Kentucky, Julietta Toedtman of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jonathan Rice of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Brandon and Michael Capaldo of Sandy Hook, Connecticut.

Theresa had three great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Leonel, Marnie and Morgan. Nana hung every piece of artwork she received from them and loved watching videos of them at play or school. Leonel always remembered to check Nana’s heart shaped decorated box for a “Hershey candy kiss”.

She was welcomed into heaven by her beloved husband of 67 years, William John Tebo, her parents John Adam and Julietta Hensz as well as her seven brothers and sisters: Johnny Hensz, Dorothy Kemble, Irene McCooey, George Hensz, Arthur Hensz, Florence Roberts and Louis Hensz.

Theresa always enjoyed history and appreciated being a lifetime member of the Tusten Historical Society. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tusten Ambulance and Fire Department, 203 Bridge Street, Narrowsburg, New York or Western Sullivan County Pubic Library, Tusten - Cochecton Branch, P. O. Box 129, Narrowsburg, New York.

Visitation and remarks will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at Harrison Rasmussen Funeral Home, 3412 Route 97, Barryville, New York.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua, Yulan, New York.  Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Narrowsburg.
