Thomas F. Hopkins of Myrtle Beach, SC and formerly of Liberty, NY, a retired Corrections Officer at the Woodbourne Correctional Facility in Woodbourne, NY died Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his home.
The son of the late James A. and Clara Mae Countryman Hopkins, he was born July 30, 1960 in Liberty, NY.
Tom enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and riding to the beach in his truck.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn McAdams Hopkins at home; two sons, Thomas Hopkins and his wife Christina of Murrells Inlet, SC and Daniel Hopkins and his wife Tori of Myrtle Beach, SC; one daughter, Kathleen Hopkins and her fiancé Jeff Gill of Myrtle Beach, SC; five grandchildren, Abigailynn, Avianna, Alexzandra, Amlia Ann and Logan; three brothers, James Hopkins and his wife Patty of Liberty, NY, John Hopkins and his wife Tamber of Alabama and Kevin Hopkins and his wife Linda of Liberty, NY; his longtime best friend, Steve Wood of Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Monday, June 27, 2022 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 27, 2022 at 7 PM in the funeral home. The Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.
