Eldred-Liberty-Sullivan West's Hunter Roberts (195-lbs) and Joey Curreri (120-lbs) competed at the NYSPHSAA Wrestling Championships in Albany on Friday. The duo were the only county wrestlers to qualify for States and represented their schools well. Both lost in the round of 16, but did win a match in wrestlebacks. Unfortunately they were eliminated in their third matches of the weekend.
