Waiting for our Halloween

vacuuming my mat

Quietly I hear a scream

I yelled out “Who dat?”

So somber, a little mouse

Footsteps right behind

I turned to peer

what I saw there

almost lost my mind

It vanished, a large creature

No face, two feet to stand

Two legs, two knees where are they please

Oh gosh he's got one hand

Real real quiet, I don't buy it

What happened to my cat

I'm all shaken, he was taken

Wait a sec, “Who Dat?”
