HURLEYVILLE – The winner of the Hurleyville Entrepreneurial Program was announced by the creator, developer, and owner of The Main Street MEWS, Jeffrey T. Stevenson. All That Glitters is Old (ATGIO) was chosen from a wide field of highly creative business entrepreneurs.

ATGIO’s new storefront location at the Main Street MEWS on Main Street in Hurleyville, New York, will be the first for the online shop described as a “curated thrift and consignment boutique of on-trend and classic wardrobe staples” where there is “no wrong way to dress.”

“We were very pleased by the amount of interest in opening businesses in the downtown area of Hurleyville,” said Jeffrey T. Stevenson. “The diversity and number of applicants we had really showed the level of excitement in the larger community in a vibrant offering of services in a new thriving Hurleyville. We are thrilled to offer this unique opportunity to All That Glitters is Old and its owner, Samara Ritzler.”

“Owning a thrift shop has been a lifelong dream of mine and, because of this program, I now get to turn my dream into a reality,” said Samara Ritzler. “I’m so thankful for this opportunity and excited to become part of such an inclusive community like Hurleyville.”

ATGIO will receive free rent, a new business loan of up to $50,000, and mentorship for the new venture. “We look forward to providing guidance and mentoring this new, young entrepreneur and watching her business blossom,” added Stevenson. The Main Street MEWS, is home to 4 businesses including Morgan Outdoors, which recently relocated from Livingston Manor, NY, and eight luxury apartments.

“I look forward to providing unique opportunities for adults and young adults who love fashion - like denim-decorating parties,” said Ritzler, “I am also excited about offering business opportunities to the adults from the nearby Center for Discovery. Hurleyville is truly a different and beautiful place to live.”

In the near future, All that Glitters is Old will include innovative events like parties where you can customize your own t-shirt or denim jacket. The store’s Grand Opening will be held on Saturday, July 30, from 11 am through 7 pm, and the ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Tuesday, August 9, at 11:00 am. ATGIO is located at 234 Main Street, Unit 100, in Hurleyville, New York.
