HONESDALE, PA - Wayne Memorial Outpatient Services is temporarily curtailing hours at its laboratory services site in Forest City from five days to three days a week to accommodate staff shortages at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.

The Forest City location, housed in the Forest City Family Health Center at 100 Dundaff Street, will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. It will be closed Mondays and Fridays. Patients needing lab services such as blood draws are asked to call ahead (570-785-6622) to be sure staff is available to assist them.

Wayne Memorial hopes the site can return to its normal five-day a week schedule at the end of November. Wayne Memorial offers lab services at the hospital and several other outpatient sites.
