LACKAWAXEN, Pa. — The 13th Annual Zane Grey Festival in Lackawaxen, Pa. featured different groups and members of the community coming together to celebrate and bring awareness to the Zane Grey Museum on July 15.
The festival featured a packed schedule. There was a Birds of Prey demonstration, Horse drawn wagon rides, hand-crafted bows, national park information booths, an invasive species display, face-painting and much more, providing something fun for everyone while also providing historical information about the area.
Susie Kaspar, a park ranger and one of the event planners, spoke of the importance of the event.

“It's a way to celebrate the local communities that preserve the history of an area,” Kaspar explained.
