Things get spooky at the Villa Roma Resort

Ghosts, goblins, superheroues and cultural icons were just a few of the guests who decorated their cars and brought the Villa Roma Club House Parking lot to life for Halloween this past Saturday.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been hard on everyone. It's been especially hard for many local kids who've had their lives disrupted as much as anyone. That's why the staff at the Villa Roma Resort and Conference Center in Callicoon was determined to deliver a safe version of the halloween festivities for kids this year.
“We had over 500 children and their parents, about 1,000 people in total,” said Adam Jacobson, Villa Roma's Director of Sales.
In addition to the Villa Roma Staff setting up Trunks to hand out candy they had local Law Enforcement; Fire Departments; the Forestburgh Playhouse and others participating.

There was a Haunted House and Hayrides to a local farm to feed farm animals and take pictures with Unicorns, or at least horses dressed as unicorns.
“We took all the necessary precautions due to covid-19 such as masks required at all times, social distancing, sanitation stations,” Jacobson said.
