Farm Arts Collective ‘Dream On The Farm 2020' will be presented by Pocono Arts Council “Earth Speaks Exhibition” on Earth Day

DAMASCUS, PA - In celebration of Earth Day on Thursday, April 22, Farm Arts Collective is partnering with The Pocono Arts Council on presenting a public film broadcast of the 2020 live performance of DREAM ON THE FARM which was filmed on location at Willow Wisp Organic Farm in August 2020.
The film and live Q and A with the artists will be presented via Zoom at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 22 and can be accessed on the Pocono Arts Council site: www.pocono-arts.org/opportunities/earth-speaks.

DREAM ON THE FARM is part of the Pocono Arts Council exhibition, “Earth Speaks” which gives artist's a platform to capture their concern regarding the climate crisis, as well as an opportunity to offer possible solutions.
The film will be presented on Thursday, April 22 at 6 p.m. via zoom (link below). Introduced by Farm Arts Collective artistic director, Tannis Kowalchuk, the 45 minute excerpt will be followed by a question and answer session with the entire ensemble.
The film captures the live site-specific eco-drama that took place on Willow Wisp Organic Farm in August 2020. The play was created and performed by 20 members of the Farm Arts Collective ensemble of actors, stilt-walkers, and musicians and directed by artistic director Tannis Kowalchuk and co--director Mimi McGurl. Dream on the Farm invited audience members to walk the farm and witness scenes and stories about survival and extinction in a changing world of extreme global disruptions due to human activity.
The actor-creators featured include: Jess Beveridge, Gregg Erickson, Jon Jon Thomas, Julia Kerhley, Michael Chojnicki, Babe Howard, John Roth, Cecilia Parker, Doug Rogers, Pam Arnold, Annie Hat, Devon Church, Ada Roth, Gary Silien, Tannis Kowalchuk, and writers Mark Dunau, Melissa Bell, and Manon Manavit.
The film was shot and edited by Mike Roberto at Willow Wisp Organic farm in Damascus, PA. The film can be accessed by attending the live Zoom presentation on Thursday, April 22 at 6 p.m. through the Pocono Arts Council site.
