GRAHAMSVILLE - There were few smartphones, tablets or laptops in sight at the Grahamsville Fairgrounds during the Old Time Fair last Saturday.
“You're not going to find anything electronic,” Event Co-Chair and Museum Board of Trustees member Debra Kassay said. “You're going to find a lot of old-fashioned fun.”
The fair serves as an annual fundraiser for the Time and the Valleys Museum. According to Museum Director Donna Steffens, this year's event raised $8,000.
From a skillet toss, horseshoe pitch, corn shucking contest, pie auction and petting zoo to old-fashioned root beer floats and a tasty chicken barbecue, the Old Time Fair, as usual, didn't disappoint.
