SULLIVAN COUNTY — On September 18, 2020 state police responded to Mahogany Lane in Liberty, NY for a report of a stolen 1997 Chrysler Town and Country. Troopers observed the vehicle traveling on Mahogany Lane and initiated a traffic stop.
While interviewing the operator of the vehicle, Marissa J. Ghelberg, age 21 of Liberty, troopers determined that she was impaired by marihuana. Ghelberg was arrested for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Grand Larceny 4th degree, a felony.
She was arraigned in the Town of Liberty Court in front of Judge Bauman and issued an appearance ticket returnable on September 30, 2020 at 2 p.m.
