FORESTBURGH — Sullivan County's Acting District Attorney Meagan K. Galligan reports that authorities continue to investigate an apparent homicide in the Town of Forestburgh. The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office responded to a location on Cold Spring Road at approximately 5:31 PM on September 16, 2020, and found a 74 year old female who had been fatally shot.

Members of the New York State Police and Sullivan County District Attorney's Office immediately joined the investigation, which is ongoing.
