The Sullivan County Association of Supervisors met at the Thompson Town Hall on Wednesday. They were joined by several guests including Bette Popovich of the American Red Cross, Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development President/CEO Marc Baez, John and Michael Hamor of Capital Energy Partners, Executive Director of the Sullivan County Human Rights Commission Adrienne Jensen, as well as Sullivan County Sheriff Mike Schiff and Undersheriff Eric Chaboty. There was also some discussion about the Sullivan County Legislature and the impact on townships from potential new state legislation involving unpaid metered water usage. Pictured are supervisors Chris Mathews (Neversink), Rob Eggleton (Rockland), Dan Hogue Jr. (Forestburgh), Tom Bose (Callicoon), Dan Sturm (Bethel), Steve Lundgren (Delaware), Janet Lybolt (Mamakating), Frank DeMayo (Liberty), Gary Maas (Cochecton) and Steve Vegliante (Fallsburg). The Association reorganized at the meeting. Sturm will remain President, Bose as Vice President, Maas as treasurer and Eggleton was named recording secretary (taking over for Mathews).
