The chilly 20-degree temperature could not hold back the excitement and the Christmas spirit as the town turned out for the 14th Annual Greater Barryville Chamber of Commerce's Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday night.
Everyone enjoyed hot cocoa and Christmas cookies as singer Shaggy Travis entertained with holiday songs and led the crowd singing Christmas carols.
