Callicoon was buzzing Saturday afternoon, and it wasn’t just the bees visiting the beautiful pollinator plants throughout the hamlet.

The Callicoon Country Fair drew a crowd to town to visit the vendors along Main Street, dance to live music throughout the day and pop into the hamlet’s shops and eateries.

This year marks the 41st year of the annual July event, which started as the Callicoon Street Fair in the 1980s before being reinvented by the Callicoon Business Association as a country fair a decade ago.
