A Single Bite’s Real Food Education Is Miles Ahead Thanks to Rolling V Bus Corporation

700 7th Grade Students Travel 700 Miles Learning About Real Food

SULLIVAN COUNTY — A Single Bite is proud to recognize a remarkable milestone in its partnership with Rolling V Bus Corporation: since 2019, the full-service transportation company based in South Fallsburg has provided student transportation in support of the nonprofit’s Real Food Education program.

And, during the 2025–2026 school year, the team at Rolling V is keeping the wheels turning—literally—making it possible for seventh grade students from across Sullivan County to visit local farms and dine at local Foster Supply Hospitality restaurants, engage with food producers, and gain firsthand knowledge about where real food comes from.

“Rolling V has gone the distance with us—thousands of miles over multiple years—and their generosity has been foundational to the success of our Real Food Education program,” said Audrey Garro, Executive Director at A Single Bite. “Without their support, this work simply wouldn’t be possible.” This school year alone, Rolling V buses will have logged almost 700 miles on behalf of A Single Bite, helping more than 700 seventh grade students - county-wide - access hands-on experiences that connect nutrition, local food and agriculture, and personal health.

The Real Food Education program introduces seventh graders to the power and joy of real food through classroom lessons, farm visits, and tasting experiences. These immersive activities plant seeds of knowledge and confidence that help students make informed, healthy food choices for life. “We believe in helping students learn, grow, and connect with the community around them—and we’re honored to play a role in that journey,” said Nick Vallone, Vice President of Rolling V Bus Corporation.
