LIVINGSTON MANOR – Student-athletes, coaches, family members, and supporters of Rockland athletics came together last Thursday for the annual Rockland Wolves Athletic Awards, an evening dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of the school’s athletic programs throughout the 2025-26 school year.

The event began with a banquet meal, giving athletes and their families an opportunity to gather and reflect on the memories created throughout the year before the evening transitioned into the awards presentation.

Athletes representing girls soccer, boys and girls cross country, football, boys and girls basketball, cheerleading, boys and girls golf, boys and girls outdoor track and field, baseball, and softball were recognized for their dedication and achievements during their respective seasons.

Coaches from each program took time to acknowledge their athletes, share highlights from the year, and present team awards. The ceremony recognized not only athletic accomplishments but also the commitment, leadership, sportsmanship, and teamwork demonstrated throughout the school year.

Rockland Athletic Director Chris Hubert praised the strong participation across the athletic department and the close-knit culture that developed among the student-athletes. “It was a great year for our varsity, there was a lot of participation and they did very well,” Hubert said. “Everyone came together and became a family and this is a great way to celebrate all their successes from the beginning to the end of the year.”

The banquet provided an opportunity for athletes from different sports to celebrate together, reflecting the unity that Hubert described. From the first competitions of the fall season to the final events of the spring, Wolves athletes represented their school with pride while supporting one another across multiple sports.

In addition to team awards, the evening also highlighted academic achievement. The Scholar-Athlete Award was presented to Olivia Stickle. She was recognized for excelling in the classroom while maintaining her commitment to athletics.

As the evening came to a close, athletes and families celebrated another successful year for Rockland athletics. While individual honors and team accomplishments were recognized throughout the ceremony, the banquet ultimately served as a celebration of the friendships, memories, and family atmosphere that defined the Wolves’ athletic year.

With another season in the books, Rockland’s student-athletes left the evening recognized for their hard work and motivated for the opportunities that lie ahead.
