Honesdale, PA  – As the owners, Janet and Debbie, we would like to introduce you to our eclectic vintage and antique store. 

We like to say, “It’s Grandma’s attic meets your quirky neighbor’s living room!”  

We are  sure you’ll enjoy a stroll down memory lane as you browse the booths, aisles, cases and walls of days gone by.   

After retiring from totally different careers (Janet was a teacher and Bed & Breakfast owner and Debbie was a legal secretary) both turned  the fun hobby of buying and selling the unusual and vintage into a new career. 

We have  both  been antique/vintage dealers for over five years, mostly outside of Wayne County.  On a mutual vacation, we compared notes and decided Honesdale needed a multi-vendor antique store of its own.  When a property with parking and great space became available, Across the Tracks Antiques & More was born.  

Janet, who loves primitive and country farmhouse antiques, offers many items made from wood, copper, cast iron and tin. 

“I’m also very fond of American brilliant cut glass and try to source local glass”, says Janet.  

Debbie has an eye for mid-century-modern design from pyrex to vinyl records to jewelry.  

“I have been dabbling in painting furniture, and I’m glad to have a venue to offer some upcycled furniture pieces,” Debbie added.  

Bringing in more selections for our customers, we have several local artisans who showcase their crafts with us, an idea Janet thought would provide variety.  Debbie loves that our 28 other vendors bring in many unique and one-of-a-kind items for sale. 

There are many vendors who love saving the old, especially wonderful well-made pieces of antique furniture.  So many times our pieces have an excellent story, or just think, you can get something with character and make up a story of your own!
