The grounds of the Delaware Youth Center were hopping Saturday afternoon.

The non-profit held its annual Easter egg hunt, drawing dozens of kids and their families to Callicoon for egg hunting, photos with the Easter Bunny, and playtime on the swings and slides.

Delayed a week due to last week’s spring snowstorm, the hunt had perfect weather with families even showing up in shorts for the event.

Run by volunteers and powered by donations, the Youth Center provides free events throughout the year for kids in and around the Callicoon community. Sign-up for their annual summer program are coming up on June 7.
