Posted

The Liberty Public Library Senior Coffee Club will meet on Monday, April 7 at 10:30am with guest speaker Russell Reeves, Sullivan County Clerk as our first guest of the 2025 season.

Mr. Reeves will be outlining important services of the County Clerk’s office and will focus on two key topics: Property Fraud Prevention and the Real ID initiative. Mr. Reeves will provide insights into how residents can safeguard their property from fraudulent activities. The County Clerk’s Property Fraud Alert Program helps alert homeowners of any potential fraud related to their property titles, empowering them to take swift action. In addition, the Clerk will provide an in-depth explanation of the Real ID program, which will become essential for air travel and access to federal facilities beginning May 7, 2025.

The Liberty Public Library hosts a Senior Coffee Club gathering on one Monday every month from April to December. Topics range from public interest lectures, distinguished speakers, and local history presentations. Check our Facebook page, or our website: www.libertypubliclibrary.org for more information about upcoming topics. This event takes place in the lower level of the library and is open to all community members. For more details call the library at 845-292-6070 or stop by the circulation desk.
