Lillian Hendrickson sat for her last official Bethel Town Board meeting December 10. We owe her a debt of gratitude for the many years of service and concern for our town and hope Lillian enjoys a full and healthy retirement.

The SC Historical Society’s Holiday Tree Exhibit will close January 3 (845-434-8044). The daily Eldred-Monteleone ‘Santa’s Village Light Show’ is scheduled hourly, 5-9p.m., until January 4. Woodstock Way Groovy Eatery: Until 12/28, show a ‘Peace Love & Lights’ ticket and get 10% off your bill. They close at 6p.m. on Christmas Eve. Have a warm, wonderful, and healthy holiday week. Celebrate a very merry Christmas on the 25th. Honor the traditions of Kwanzaa on the 26th.
