Happy anniversary to Diane and Kevin Monahan, the Tweeds and the Widmans.

Our sympathy to Sandra, Christopher, LeighAnne, extended family and friends of Charles “Chuck” Kinne of Virginia and Kauneonga Lake. He passed on July 24. Firematic and military honor services were held on August 1.

Kudos to Ken and Gabby Cohen who paired up to win the Westchester Parent-Child Golf Tournament last week.

Follow the 45th SC Democrat Two-Man Better Ball Golf Tournament at the Villa Roma on August 7-9. Organized by Fred Stabbert III with Matt Kleiner and others, this year they will rename Flights 2-7 in honor of six SC Democrat Golf Tournament Hall of Famers. The field features 128 players across 64 teams, one of which consists of my fabulous sons-Tyler and Logan, making this tourney my favorite summer weekend event!

The Wayne County Fair runs from August 7 through the 15th.
