BETHEL – Wellness workshops start this week at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts Winter and there are still a few spots left. Plus, the center has added a spring full of Event Gallery shows and creative classes to look forward to.  Check out all the exciting events happening in the coming weeks:

On Wednesdays, from Feb 4 to Mar 25, After-School Music invites kids ages 7–13 to join the band through group lessons and individual instruction. Classes focus on developing skills in vocals, guitar, drums, and keyboard.

February 11 is Clay Play with Sara Patterson. Reconnect with your creativity and calm through the grounding practice of clay hand building. This gentle, hands-on class invites you to slow down, tune into your senses, and shape meaningful forms at your own pace (waitlist only).

February 18 is Beginner Tai Chi with Michael Koneci. Often described as “meditation in motion,” this beautiful martial art enhances balance, strength, and flexibility. Participants will learn foundational postures and flowing sequences that promote balance, flexibility, and relaxation.

On February 25 enjoy Figure Drawing with Jorge Colombo and Malik Titus Bridges. Using a live model, participants will learn simple techniques for observing proportions, posture, and movement, while practicing quick gesture sketches and basic shading. No prior experience is necessary.

February 28 is the date for Remember Jones Presents Mad Dogs & Englishmen, a 20-piece band celebration of Joe Cocker’s groundbreaking live album and tour.

March 4 is Woodstock Journey Dance with Danielle Gaebel. Shake off stress and step inside the spirit of Woodstock, not through a history book, but through your own body. This uplifting, music-driven experience blends guided movement and expressive dance.

March 6 is Marc Roberge of O.A.R. Frontman of multi-platinum alt-rock band O.A.R., Marc Roberge brings an intimate, sold-out performance to the Event Gallery.

March 11 is Still Life Photography with Bette Blau. Slow down and explore the art of still life photography as a form of mindful observation. Participants will learn to notice light, texture, and composition with fresh eyes, tuning into the quiet details that are often overlooked.

Jim Messina plays on March 14. An undisputed expert in the fine art of making hit music, Messina’s musical genius spans five decades, three supergroups, a solo career, and scores of production credits.

March 18 is Ekphrastic Poetry with Dawn Leas. Let art, music, and history spark your creativity in the Museum at Bethel Woods. Explore immersive exhibits and use them as inspiration for writing poetry.

On March 21, Lez Zeppelin plays Bethel Woods. All Girls. All Zeppelin. Accompanied by a multimedia presentation inspired by the original movie, Lez Zeppelin will perform the soundtrack from The Song Remains the Same in its entirety for its 50th Anniversary Celebration.

March 25 is Beyond the Brush: Abstract Painting with Catherine Chesters. Create abstract art using watercolors, acrylics & ink on various papers. Through layering, blending, and organic mark-making, you'll tap into your creative flow.
