BETHEL – Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the nonprofit cultural center and site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, recently announced two new members of the organization’s esteemed Board of Trustees: Rob Grimm and Jonathan Gatsik.

“Rob and Jonathan bring complementary strengths rooted in entrepreneurship, civic leadership, and a genuine commitment to this region,” said Eric Frances, CEO of Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. “Both have long-standing connections to Bethel Woods and a deep appreciation for the role arts and culture play in community life. As we mark our 20th anniversary, their experience and perspective will help guide the Center as we build on our legacy and look ahead to the next chapter.”

With decades of experience as an entrepreneur, builder, and community leader, Rob Grimm brings a strong commitment to stewardship, philanthropy, and regional development. A resident of Waymart, Pennsylvania, Rob is the owner of Charles W. Grimm Construction and the #71 Grimm Racing Team. His connection to Bethel Woods is both personal and longstanding as his father worked closely with Alan Gerry on construction projects across the region, including early work tied to Bethel Woods and other community institutions. Rob has continued that legacy of service through extensive civic and nonprofit involvement, serving as a trustee of the Wayne County Public Library, The Honesdale National Bank, the Grimm Foundation, Camp Freedom, and the board of The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple.

“Bethel Woods has long been an important part of this region, and I’m honored to continue supporting its work as a member of the Board,” said Rob. “The organization plays a meaningful role in preserving the site’s history while serving the community through arts and cultural programming, and I look forward to contributing in this capacity.”

Jonathan Gatsik is a Hudson Valley-based entrepreneur, executive, and legal professional with expertise in real estate development, hospitality, and corporate law. He develops multifamily apartment complexes across the region and serves as Operating Partner at Billy Joe’s Ribworks in Newburgh. Earlier in his career, Jonathan practiced corporate and securities law at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York and London, served as Assistant General Counsel at Production Resource Group, and clerked for Chancellor William B. Chandler III on the Delaware Court of Chancery. He holds an LLM from Georgetown University Law Center, a JD magna cum laude from Suffolk University Law School, and a dual BS in Accounting and Management from Mount Saint Mary College. Jonathan is active in the community, serving on the boards of Mount Saint Mary College, the Newburgh Jewish Community Center, Congregation Agudas Israel, the Orange County Arts Council, and the Community Foundation of Orange, Sullivan and Rockland.

“Bethel Woods has been my home venue for years, and it’s a place I’ve always felt a strong connection to as a music fan,” said Jonathan. “I’m honored to join the Board and contribute to the continued growth of an institution that celebrates history while creating space for new voices, new ideas, and shared experiences for the community.”

The Bethel Woods Board of Trustees advances the Center’s mission by providing strategic guidance and leadership in support of its cultural, educational, and community-focused work. Trustees draw on extensive professional experience and nonprofit service to offer expertise across areas such as organizational leadership, business strategy, fundraising, and marketing.
