The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) will host the  Big Eddy Film Festival beginning this Thursday.

Now in its 14th year, Big Eddy Film Festival (BEFF) is a celebration of film, art and the rural imagination. Taking place over four days and multiple locations, the line-up will feature everything from documentary to animation and short films.

The festival kicks off with BEFF Ignites: Screening and  Panel Discussion on Thursday, September 25, at 7 p.m. at the Tusten Theatre. A 20th anniversary screening of “Good Night And Good Luck” (2005) will be shown to highlight and celebrate the work of public radio station Radio Catskill. The screening will be followed by a journalism panel discussion, speakers to be announced soon. Tickets are $20; $10 from each ticket sold will be donated to WJFF Radio Catskill.

Following two jam-packed days of screenings, the Festival Party will be held on Saturday, September 27, from 9 p.m. to late at The Parlor, 90 Main St, Narrowsburg. Dance the night away with your fellow festival attendees and filmmakers. Free entry and music by DJ4ThePeople.

A full schedule and more information can be found online at www.bigeddyfilmfest.com. Screenings are $15 unless otherwise noted; an all-access pass is available for $125.
