LIBERTY – The Community Garden Club of Liberty hosted the Spring luncheon of the Federated Garden Clubs of NY District X on April 9 at the Erie Trackside Manor in Port Jervis. There were 60 members and guests in attendance. The District Officers were installed following a business meeting. Gift baskets donated by the host members and local patrons were raffled. A program was presented by Caroline Summers and was entitled “Natives for Neatniks” and focused on tips for using native plants in traditional garden styles.
The next meeting of the Community Garden Club of Liberty will be held on Tuesday, May 20 at the Monticello Library.
