FORESTBURGH – Dear Evan Hansen, the Tony Award-winning phenomenon opens at the Forestburgh Playhouse on July 14 and runs through July 26. Performances are Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8PM, Wednesdays at 2PM, and Sundays at 3PM.

When a high school student’s private letter is mistakenly made public, a tangled web of misunderstanding transforms into a powerful exploration of belonging, truth, and the courage to be yourself. The multi-Tony award-winning Dear Evan Hansen is a classic for the digital age that will move you and leave you breathless.

Featuring incredible Broadway talent, the 2026 Resident Company as well as talented local teens from the 2026 Junior Resident Company, this production promises to deliver the breathtaking music and sensational performances that have made Dear Evan Hansen one of the defining musicals of this generation.

“Dear Evan Hansen is a deeply moving story about connection and identity” said Producer, Franklin Trapp. “Our cast brings unstoppable energy and passion to the stage. This is a show that will move you and leave audiences changed for the better.”
