Dominick Furlipa will be remembered for “his smile and his kindness,” his mother Michelle Furlipa says.

A lifelong resident of Eldred, Dominick passed away at 21 years old on August 17 in Great Falls, MT, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

After graduating from Eldred Central School in 2023, he ventured to Montana to pursue his welding career, a trade he was deeply passionate about.

During his time at Eldred he was an avid sports fan and athlete, participating in football and baseball at the school, as well as snowboarding, throughout his life.

His mom Michelle says he started football at four years old and baseball at five years old, and that he always “liked the competition” of sports.

Dominick had a true love for the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, hunting and fishing, and never passed up the opportunity for a new adventure.

Above all, Dominick will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and the joy he brought to his family and friends.

During his funeral services on August 25, visitation was held from 1 to 8 p.m. and was never empty the whole time.

“He is dearly missed and will never be forgotten,” Michelle said.
