On Sunday June 14, Sullivan County Golf Club and Otto’s Restaurant hosted the first annual Warrior Companion golf tournament in collaboration with the STEAM Fund.  Jack Bodolosky, president and founder of Warrior Companion, a non-profit organization, providing healthcare to veteran’s service dogs and Gary Siegel, president of the STEAM (Siegel Trust Enriching Art and Music) Fund, an organization providing Arts in Education programs to the Hudson Valley, organized the nine-hole outing followed by dinner and entertainment by local legend Slam Allen. The sold-out event joined both fun and awareness to the need and benefits of both groups. Tom Coyne, managing partner of the SCGC, not only hosted but played the nine holes with Warrior Companions founder. A full weekend for Coyne after his book launch and signing event on Saturday, June 13. Copies of A Course Called Home are available at the SCGC.
