Families are invited to a free, joyful afternoon of music and connection as internationally acclaimed songwriter, author, and peace educator John Farrell and educator/musician Ann Marie Farrell bring their interactive concert, “Spring is in the Air,” to The Cooperage on Sunday, April 19 from 1:00–2:00 PM.

Designed for children in Pre-K through Grade 5 and their families, this engaging performance blends music, storytelling, movement, and sign language in a celebration of springtime and the natural world. No registration is required.

For more than 30 years, John Farrell has shared songs and stories with children in over 1,500 schools across 25 countries. His work centers on empathy, literacy, environmental awareness, and global understanding. An award-winning songwriter and acclaimed children’s book author, John has become a beloved presence in schools and communities around the world.

Ann Marie Farrell, a retired elementary and preschool teacher, joins John on guitar and vocals. Together, the Farrells create warm, welcoming performances that inspire learning, laughter, and participation for audiences of all ages.

This family concert is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to arrive early and be ready to sing, move, and celebrate the season together. For more information, visit https://thecooperageproject.org/happenings.
