CALLICOON – Trans+ Support Initiative of Sullivan & Wayne Counties invites the community to a free screening of Anything’s Possible at the Callicoon theater, Upper Main Street, Callicoon on Monday, October 12, 2pm with free popcorn. This is the third screening in a series designed to strengthen our communities through shared fun, connection, understanding, and respect. Everyone is welcome, this is a community-wide free event.

Anything’s Possible is a delightfully modern Gen Z coming-of-age story that follows a confident high school girl who is trans, as she navigates through senior year. When a classmate develops a crush on her, he musters up the courage to ask her out, despite the hassle and drama they anticipate will come from others.  What transpires is a story that showcases courage and the joy, tenderness, and pain of young love. Post-movie there will be a discussion/Q&A and there will be free informational and educational materials available.

This community building event is presented by the Trans+ Support Initiative of Sullivan & Wayne Counties and is made possible in part through the generosity of the Community Foundation of Orange, Sullivan & Rockland Counties, Community Perspective Grant, and through the generosity, support from, and in collaboration with:

Sullivan Allies Leading Together (S.A.L.T.), Catskill Pride, Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center, Access: Supports for Living, REACH Program. For more info, email: tsigroup24@gmail.com, TranSupportInitiativeNYPA.org.
