Assemblymember Paula Elaine Kay was proud to host Greta Knutzen in Albany last week and honor her during the Legislative Women’s Caucus Women’s History Month Celebration. This year’s theme, “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future,” could not be a better reflection of Greta and the work she does every day.

Since making Sullivan County her permanent home, Greta has transformed an award-winning career in media into one of impactful public service across the Upper Delaware region. From establishing free social programming called Tusten Social for youth, teens, and seniors, to co-founding the affordable housing-focused consulting collective Struktur Lab, Greta has been a driving force for positive change.

Her commitment to community is further evident through her volunteer service with the Narrowsburg Volunteer Fire Department, as well as her leadership on the boards of the Narrowsburg Chamber of Commerce and Growing Older Together. Greta’s dedication to strengthening western Sullivan County is truly inspiring.

“Thank you, Greta, for all that you do—and thank you to the leadership of the Legislative Women’s Caucus for organizing such a meaningful celebration,” Kay said.
