MILFORD, PA — Come spark your Halloween spirit on Saturday, October 24 with TWO shows at 1pm & 4pm at Grey Towers National Historic Site.  Entering the Great Hall, you will step back in time to the 1890’s for spirited and haunting readings of some of Edgar Allan Poe’s classic tales.

Edgar Allan Poe's books were found in the Grey Towers' collection. Dramatic readings were a common form of entertainment for 19th-century families, and the American Readers Theatre, a nonprofit performing arts organization dedicated to promoting literacy through dramatic readings, keeps this traditional art form alive.

Tickets are $20 GTHA members, $25 non members/general public, $5 students.  Tickets may be purchased in advance online at greytowers.org/events.

(Please be advised that since this event takes place in the museum space, no tours or open house will be offered on this date.  An 11 am tour and 1-3pm open house will resume on Sunday, October 25th.) Located at 122 Old Owego Tpke, Milford, PA 18337.
