MONTICELLO – The last four weeks have been busy for the Tweed’s Gymnastics competition team. To finish up the month of January, the levels 2’s and 4’s brought home first-place team banners at the NY Cup Gymnastics Invitational in Binghamton. Last weekend, on the day after Valentine’s Day, Hailee Walzer competed in the Sweetheart Invitational in Wappingers Falls, making improvements all around in her routines. Although there were several cancellations on Friday, the Diamonds and Bows meet with Leanne Wong-NY went off without interruption. The team traveled to the Albany Capital Center, and in between sessions, gymnasts had a chance to meet two-time Olympic Gymnast Leanne Wong.
