Harmonic Voyage gives back to the community through music

LIBERTY – On Sunday, August 2 at 4pm in LaPolt Park, Liberty, four local youth will be performing a free concert for the community. Coming together as Harmonic Voyage, these county residents are giving back to the community through their performance.

Harmonic Voyage is a musical group that uses voice and instruments to explore the emotions and experiences connected to the Holocaust. Through a carefully selected program of vocal and instrumental pieces, the performance guides audiences through three themes: sadness, hope, and joy. While acknowledging the pain and loss of the Holocaust, the program also highlights resilience, healing, and the strength to move forward. Featuring selections ranging from reflective works such as Over the Rainbow and Al Shlosha to uplifting favorites including My Favorite Things, Libertango, and Happiness, Harmonic Voyage honors the past while celebrating the hope and joy that can emerge even after life's darkest moments.

Musicians include Genna DeFrank, Julia Juron, Erin Skinner, and Jayla Edwards. There will be a special appearance by Tyler Juron. This event is being coordinated by Hope's Compass and Grese Productions, with support from a grant through Assemblymember Paula Kay. Thank you to Liberty Parks and Recreation Department for behind-the-scenes assistance.
