With just three days left in the 52nd Annual Sullivan County Democrat Big Buck Contests, Justin Hartman’s remarkable 15-pointer is still in the lead.
The buck, which was stalked for nearly seven hours in the snow, was taken in the Town of Denning, Ulster County, just over the border from the Town of Neversink.
In second place is Collin Tallman of Roscoe, who shot an equally impressive 7-pointer which scored 81.50 in the Contest. The score was corrected from the initial report as an inside spread measurement was used instead of an outside spread measurement.
Currently in third place is Thomas Bryne of Grahamsville, who harvested a huge 12-pointer in Denning which scored 76.
In the heavy deer contest, James Blais is leading the way at 166 lbs. dressed. The big buck is also in fourth place in the Big Buck contest at 75.5.
In second place in the heavy deer contest is Justin Hartman, whose buck dressed at 165 lbs.
