The Town of Highland revealed their brand new town seal created by 2003 graduate of Eldred Central School District, Kelly Leavenworth-Lee.

“As a graduate of Eldred and a member of a family that has lived in the town for generations, I felt a strong personal connection to this project,” Leavenworth-Lee said. “When I learned about the opportunity, I knew immediately

that I wanted to contribute to something so meaningful for our community.”

Leavenworth-Lee noted that her design was an attempt to capture the natural setting that comprises the town’s surroundings.

“It was a pleasure working with John [Pizzolato, Town Supervisor], Laura [Burrell, Town Council person], and the entire team on the creation of the new town seal for the Town of Highland.”
