LEGAL NOTICE (AMENDED)

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The White Lake Fire District is requesting proposals from qualified independent certified public accountants or independent public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. The audit is to be conducted in accordance with the U.S. generally accepted auditing standards and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards, issue by the Comptroller General of the United States.

The following conditions apply to this Request for Proposal (RFP):

There is no express or implied obligation for the District to reimburse responding firms for any expense incurred in preparing proposals in response to this Request.

Any inquiries concerning this RFP must be in writing and should be addressed to the Fire District Treasurer, Susan Brown Otto, PO Box 11, White Lake, New York 12786, Inquiries must be postmarked by January 4, 2022. District responses to all inquiries will be distributed to each potential proposer.

To be considered (3) three copies of a proposal must be received by the Fire District Secretary at PO Box 11, White Lake, New York 12786, no later than January 21, 2022. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted.
