Sullivan County will be having a Public Meeting for the Bridge NY Program funded Replacement of County Bridge 77/BIN 3355420. The meeting will be held at the Town of Highland, Town Hall, located at 4 Proctor Road, Eldred, NY 12732, on Thursday May 18th from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to obtain comments from interested parties, adjacent landowners and the community related to the proposed project and discuss the work, environmental and traffic concerns. The project work being considered involves the removal and replacement of the existing bridge and the dam spillway beneath the Bridge. At the meeting, Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C. the County’s planning and design consultant will be presenting the information contained in their Draft Design Approval Document (DDAD). A copy of the DDAD is available for review at the office of the Division of Public Works located at the Sullivan County Government Center 100 North Street, Monticello, NY 12701. Construction is being scheduled to begin in the spring of 2024.
