TOWN OF THOMPSON

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that I Heather Berg, the undersigned Receiver of Taxes of the Town of Thompson, County of Sullivan and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes with the Town of Thompson for the year 2022, and that I will attend at 4052 State Route 42, Monticello, in the said Town of Thompson from January 3rd, 2022 to March 31st, 2022, 9:00 o'clock in the morning to 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon, on each day, except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays for the purpose of receiving the taxes listed on the said roll. A drop box and credit card kiosk are available from 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon until 4:30 o'clock, on each day, except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. Taxes will also be collected at the Catskill Hudson Bank in Monticello, located at 4445 State Route 42 N, Monday - Thursday, 8 o'clock in the morning to 4:30 o'clock in the afternoon; Friday, 8 o'clock in the morning to 6 o'clock in the evening; and Saturday 9 o'clock in the morning to noon. Taxes will also be collected at the Catskill Hudson Bank in Rock Hill, located at 244 Rock Hill Dr., Monday thru Friday, 8:30 o'clock in the morning to 4:30 o'clock in the afternoon.

Due to COVID19, taxes must be in exact amounts, change will not be given.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2022 without charge or interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of 1% in February and an additional percent for each additional month or fraction thereof thereafter until such taxes are paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the County Treasurer pursuant to law. On all taxes received after March 1, 2022 there shall be an added charge of $2.00 for the March reminder mailing.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law the tax roll of the Town of Thompson will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Sullivan on the 3rd Day of April, 2022.
